What is The Photography Train?
It's a traveling collection of first class, New York City-based photographers who specialize in headshots and fashion photography.
The Photography Train began five years ago when founder and owner Rance Wright was traveling in an Equity production. During his spare time between performances, he would teach audition classes to aspiring actors across the country, answering questions and helping students become better at their craft. In speaking to these students, Rance learned that there is a need for professional, New York City-based headshot photographers in other parts of the country. Seizing the oportunity, Rance founded The Photography Train with the goal of helping individuals who want to make performing a career.
By bringing a hand-selected team of top-notch photographers, make-up artists and hair stylists to major cities, universities, programs and events across the country, The Photography Train helps aspiring actors and performers get the best headshots they can get without the cost of traveling to New York City. No one photographer is like the next and each of them have their own unique style, so with The Photography Train, you'll get to choose the photographer and style that's the best match for you.
